The British Embassy Doha announced the launch of a UK-Qatar Fintech Bridge, a bilateral framework enabling fintech start-ups to secure regulatory approval in both jurisdictions through a streamlined process. The bridge covers digital payments, open banking APIs, and blockchain-based trade finance. Qatar Central Bank and the UK Financial Conduct Authority will co-chair a joint advisory committee.
