Germany's Fraunhofer Institute and the Qatar Computing Research Institute announced a three-year research partnership in quantum computing. The collaboration will focus on developing quantum algorithms applicable to supply chain optimization, energy grid management, and climate modelling. A joint laboratory will be established at Education City, with German researchers rotating to Doha on six-month secondments.
